About the role
We are currently seeking qualified crew members with proven experience to join our expanding Western Australian shutdown and maintenance teams.
- Ensure achievement of maintenance goals to maximise plant and equipment availability.
- Set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment and operate machines to produce parts or tools.
- Mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments.
- Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together.
- Manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Operate powered machines that may be manually or computer-controlled.
- Erect machinery and equipment on site as required; and inspect machinery regularly and make any adjustments or repairs as required.
The role is offered on a casual basis and candidates must be based in Western Australia with the ability to FIFO from Perth to qualify.

Requirements
- Valid WA Driver’s License – HR or manual C class preferred
- Working at Heights Ticket (within 2 years)
- Confined Space Ticket (within 2 years)
- Construction Card
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Drug & Alcohol Screen (within 28 days)
Essential criteria
- High Risk Work License – CO ticket preferred
- High Risk Work License – RA & RI tickets preferred
- Valid WA Driver’s License – HR/HR-B preferred
- Construction (White) Card
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work well in a team in remote areas
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
- Company and customer focused based
- Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
