When people join DIAB, they tend to stay – it’s a big company with a family feel. Much of that is down to Glen.

As the son of two of our founders, Glen has worked his way up through the business, from apprentice through the trades to management and, today, Executive General Manager. A decades-long journey that means he understands our business like the back of his hands.

This hands-on experience also underpins Glen’s no-nonsense yet approachable leadership. His commitment and practical problem-solving mindset set the tone for our 500-strong team and culture – from his unwavering commitment to safety to his passion for leveraging new technologies.

When he isn’t working with clients and teams across DIAB to find smarter, safer solutions, Glen enjoys spending time with his family, camping and fishing.

Togs has been a pivotal figure at DIAB. As one of our longest-serving team members, he’s trusted by colleagues and clients alike and has managed many of our largest maintenance and shutdown projects.

His role is both strategic and operational, so he’s as likely to be on-site – sharing his deep practical knowledge with our teams to deliver smarter solutions – as he is in the boardroom.

But whether he’s on the ground solving problems or in the office driving safety initiatives, new business and our strategic direction, one thing is certain: people listen to Togs. He knows his stuff and is a strong leader and decision-maker.

Outside work, Togs enjoys camping, off-roading and spending time with his furry mastiff mates, Armani and Mack.

Alan is another legendary member of the DIAB team. After starting his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker, he joined DIAB in the 1980s.

As our business has grown, so has his role and influence. Today, he ensures we deliver the right personnel and assets to projects. It’s a remit that spans recruitment, scheduling, logistics and everything in between, delivering efficiently to minimise costs for clients.

Alan has worked on some landmark projects at DIAB, including the world’s biggest tractor. But it’s in the details where Alan weaves his magic, not least in nurturing future generations of talent.

In his spare time, Alan likes fishing, caravaning and spending time with his extended family across the world.
