Sustainable and environmentally and socially responsible growth has been part of our DNA from day one. It’s baked into our values, culture and our commitment to NRW Holdings’ sustainability goals.

But while we have a proud history of financial and environmental sustainability and corporate citizenship, supporting communities across Australia and proactively protecting the planet, we’re always looking for new opportunities to make a positive difference. That’s just the DIAB way.

Environmental

From the 416 solar panels powering our Geraldton workshop to mitigating and eliminating environmental harm in our day-to-day operations, you’ll find our commitment to innovation extends to protecting the environment.

This includes:

  • Managing resources responsibly. Minimising waste and preventing pollution across all projects.
  • Improving efficiency and reducing our footprint. Across energy use, material handling and responsible waste management.
  • Capturing hydrocarbons. Removing and recycling oil and contaminants from process water.
  • Recycling and reusing process water. Through on-site cleaning and treatment systems.
  • Safely removing and treating water that cannot be reused. Partnering with licensed environmental service providers.
  • Capturing dust, fumes and vapours. Through extraction systems designed to protect workers, equipment and the surrounding environment.

Social impact

Whether we’re supporting local sports clubs, fundraising for charities or promoting apprenticeship pathways for locals, we take our responsibilities to the communities where we work as seriously as the work itself.

We’ve supported more than 60 community initiatives, clubs and events nationwide in recent years, including:

  • Constable Care Child Safety
  • PCYC
  • CareFlight
  • WA Rugby
  • breast cancer awareness campaigns
  • regional arts councils
