We’re celebrating the recent completion of our very first locomotive restoration!
DIAB was engaged by Aurizon for a complete overhaul of an ACN locomotive’s structure and individual structural components. This meant the refurbishment, corrosion inspection, stripping and repainting of the unit.
This upgrade will prolong the locomotive’s lifespan, offer better protection against the elements and ensure it meets operational standards, enabling a swift return to service.
With the success of the corrosion remediation and refurbishment efforts, we’re happy to share that Aurizon is pleased with the final product, particularly the quality of the structural appearance.
