DIAB Engineering is a leading supplier of plant maintenance, shutdown, fabrication and project services to the resources and infrastructure sectors across Australia and internationally. You could be working in any one of these locations:
Metal trade Apprenticeships are conducted in our 9000m² workshop based in Geraldton, Western Australia.
Desirable attributes of applicants
- Possess good math’s and problem-solving skills with successful completion of at least Year 11
- We encourage applications from our previous work experience students
- Having completed a pre-apprenticeship in Boilermaker Welding or Fitting and Machining is advantageous
- Having a history of interest in mechanical devices and building or maintaining machines, at school or at home in the shed
- Keen to learn and willing to work
- Having the ability to work within a team environment
- Recognise the importance of health and safety in the workplace
All applicants will be required to pass a fitness for work testing and provide a clear National Police Clearance.
